Allotments in Ledbury, Herefordshire

Community gardening for all

7 Acre Site off Bromyard Road just 1 mile from the centre of Ledbury

We have plots of all sizes where our members grow fruit, vegetables and flowers and even keep chickens. Although not everyone uses organic methods, our association works hard to encourage sustainable gardening and maintaining the site to encourage wildlife is an important part of our work.

About LAA and the Allotments

Ledbury Allotment Association (LAA) was formed by a group of Ledbury residents in 2004 and the search for a suitable site began.   In 2008 the LAA moved onto Henfield and digging started. A year later the Association was incorporated as a private limited company. The award of a Lottery grant in 2009 enabled it to buy Henfield and funding from an anonymous donor in 2012 led to the purchase of Topfield.  It was also in 2012 that the Association became a charity.
